Practice Areas: Medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, personal injury, health care law, and risk management.

Experience: Renee practiced law for eight years with another law firm before joining Campbell, Yost, Clare & Norell, PC as a director in January, 2003. Prior to practicing law, Renee was a pediatric intensive care nurse. Renee has substantial experience litigating high exposure medical malpractice cases of all varieties as well as wrongful death personal injury matters. Renee has also tried to verdict multiple alleged birth injury and high exposure medical malpractice cases, wrongful death and personal injury cases. She assists hospitals, physicians, medical corporations and institutions with risk management and medical staff issues.

Education: University of Michigan, 1991 B.S., Nursing, Magna Cum Laude; University of Notre Dame, 1994 J.D.

Other: Renee is involved in the Notre Dame Club of Phoenix as well as a number of other private community based nonprofit endeavors. Renee was admitted to practice law in Arizona and the U.S. District Court in 1994.

About the Speaker:  Debbie Coleman has been a resident of Central Florida since Childhood.  She has been a practicing Psychiatric Nurse in the Greater Central Florida Area for more than 25 years.  Her experience includes Occupational Health Nursing for a Large Manufacturing Company in Orlando.  She has been part of the Clinical Team to open three Psychiatric Hospitals, helping to develop policies and procedures for each.  She has worked on the floors as a staff nurse.  Debbie has been the assistant Director of Business for two large psychiatric hospitals.  She has been a national speaker for the Jason Foundation, speaking on Suicide Awareness and Prevention. About the Speaker: Attorney Cal Raup

Take U.S. 60 west continuing on to I-10 W (U.S 60, Maricopa freeway). Proceed to exit 145 A (7th Street) on right. At the end of the exit ramp turn right (North) onto 7th Street. Take 7th Street approximately 1.2 miles and Phoenix Country Club will be on the right at the corner at Thomas.

From Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX):
Start out going EAST on E Sky Harbor Blvd. Turn right toward terminal 2/3 west exit/24th street/downtown Phoenix/rental car return. Turn right onto E Sky Harbor Blvd. Stay straight to go to I-10 W. Take the 7th street exit, exit 145 A. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right (North) onto 7th Street. Proceed 1.2 miles to 2901 N 7th St. Distance 6.73 miles/12 minutes.

From North Phoenix:
Merge onto I-17 south toward Downtown Phoenix. Take exit 201 toward US 60/Thomas Rd. Stay straight to go onto N. Black Canyon Hwy. Turn left onto W. Thomas Rd. Turn left onto N. 7th Street. End at 2901 N 7th St. (Phoenix Country Club).

Speaker: Charles C. Daschbach, MD MPH

About the Speaker:

Dr. Charles C. Daschbach is Director of Academic Affairs and Continuing Medical Education at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. He is also its Designated Institutional Official.
 

Dr. Daschbach received his Medical Degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 1980 and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at St. Joseph's Hospital. He then became a Flinn Foundation Fellow in Medical Economics for two years, receiving his Masters in Public Health at Harvard University in Boston. In 1997 he was named a Harvard Macy Scholar and in 1998 and 2000 joined the voluntary faculty of the Harvard Macy Institute for Medical Education Research.

Dr. Daschbach is a past Chair of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, the Association of American Medical Colleges- Group on Resident Affairs, and the American Heart Association Committee on Health Professions. He is also a long time member and past President of the Association for Hospital Medical Education.
