Pat Carroll is a Registered Nurse and a Legal Nurse Consultant in Exponent’s Biomechanics practice. She is responsible for organizing and reviewing medical records and other relevant healthcare and legal documents to assess issues of causation and physical damages, and then formulating a summarized chronology of the analyzed information. She researches pertinent health care literature, standards, and guidelines and consults with engineers to provide education of the medical and healthcare related issues. Ms. Carroll has reviewed hundreds of medical records and provided medical chronologies, injury diagrams (for client education and trial exhibits) and Abbreviated Injury Scaling for numerous plaintiffs and defendants. She has provided medical record review for all types of injury cases, as well as medical device implant failure and toxic exposure cases. She served as Director at Large and Membership Chair to the Phoenix Chapter for 3 years.
